Thank you Carla. I am getting sick and tired of all the Chicken Little posts..."The sky is falling! The Sky is falling!" I too am excited about the new season and the new kids coming in and looking to make an impact.

Slogan bashing aside, you are completely correct. This season will be exciting because we will be getting a good look at the team's future. I can't wait to see what they really have in Doughty, Hickey, Purcell, Boyle, Moulson et al. The won/lost record means nothing. This year is about progress, promise and growth.

a very fitting time to post this blog, i'm so stoked for this season... NO BLAKE!

I'm sooooo glad that the kings got rid of all those guys this off season, i wish they would trade handzus but with all the young guys up front and on D, i'm willing to give him a chance this year... They still have holes to fill, but i'm thinking that no matter what happens in the next month, come Game One of the regular season, these guys are going to be a "sleeper" team... I think we're going to finish 3rd in our division and hopefully make the playoffs.

I look at every season as a new season. I don't think I could be a fan if I looked at the team in a negative light every year.
