Training Camp 9/16 (Day 3) - scrimmage summary
So I only was able to make the scrimmage today, so I can't comment on the drills. Anyways, it was Team Berry vs. Team Murphy. They did a bit of line-shuffling with Murphy - slightly different configurations from yesterday

Both games were pretty much dominated by Team Murphy. Murphy won the first game 3-0. There were a few penalty shots for both teams, obviously Berry missed all of theirs (penalty shots for Berry were taken by Thornton, Holloway, and Weaver in the first game). Noah Clarke missed a penalty shot for Murphy. TK scored the first goal off a penalty shot against Bernier. Jackman scored the second goal, and Avery finished the scoring with a penalty shot goal. Labarbera was the goaltender for Murphy, and as I said earlier Bernier was in goal for Berry.
The second game Murphy beat Berry 6-0. Brust was in goal for Murphy, and Bernier started off in goal for Berry. Dustin Brown missed a penalty shot early on. Zeiler scored the first goal of the game. The 2nd was scored by Noah Clarke off a nice assist from Avery. Bernier went out of the game 10 minutes into the contest and was replaced by Daniel Taylor, who got manhandled out there. Frolov made a sweet goal right off the faceoff from Avery, slapping it right into the upper left. Gleason scored a goal from the blue line. Later on, the TK-Kopitar-Jackman line scored, although I couldn't tell which one of them put it in since there was a big scramble in front of the net up until the puck went in. The last goal of the game was scored off a slapshot from Dallman (it might have been tipped, couldn't tell).
On a sidenote, Blake has looked very solid in scrimmage. He's been disrupting the passing lanes, poke-checking pucks away in his zone, and doing a good job passing and setting up the offense.
Anyone who was there - please post thoughts!:)
