I'm all for a Kings/Avalanche game at Mile High Stadium. I'd fly out for that.

I really don't think weather at that time of year plays a major factor, but with the Rose Parade and Bowl game,
I don't see it happening in LA on New Years day.

How do you not think it's a major factor when ice open to the elements is involved? If the game were in LA, there's a high probability that it's either gonna be 20 degrees or more too warm or, if it is close to being cold enough, then there's a decent chance it may rain.
