‘I Saw The Devil’: Revenge Is A Dish Best Served Bloody [Sundance Review]

I hesitate to speculate on the place I Saw the Devil might eventually hold among the pantheon of top notch revenge flicks, but, despite its flaws, it certainly makes a strong case for consideration.
24Framespersecond.net - North America gets HK slasher DREAM HOME this February
When's that midnight screening again, jd?Quote:
The good news, IFC Films have set the date for their release of Pang Ho-cheung’s highly enjoyable and hugely bloody Hong Kong slash horror Dream Home. The bad news, it won’t be going theatrical, only VOD, but will be available to see from February 9th. For those who’ve yet to dip a toe into the waters of “On Demand” we’ve found a second option for all clever bods sensibly kitted out with multi-region DVD players, is the UK DVD release, which goes on sale from March 28.

Film Review: Dream Home | Brutal As Hell
Quote:
A blackly comic social commentary slasher film about the competitive and overpriced Hong Kong housing market that is supposedly based on true events may seem like a strange premise, but it was surprisingly entertaining and if, like myself, you’re a young person in a big city dreaming of getting onto the property ladder you may find yourself sympathizing with Cheng Li-sheung’s cause even though her solution to the problem is rather extreme. Ho-Cheung Pang is a prolific maverick young filmmaker, and if this is anything to go by he’s definitely one to keep an eye on in the future.

OH **** YES.
Nothing available yet that looks all that great, but hopefully that'll change soon.
