I don't know enough about the story to say either way. And I don't really care that much at this point.
I get by on faith.
Look, regardless of the talent involved...this is a hard sell. It's not a universally known item and the foreign-ness is sure to be a turn off for American audiences. This will make a ton of dough overseas, but nothing short of tremendous word of mouth will make this a hit in the U.S. I was on the fence till I saw the footage @ SDCC and I can honestly say the 4 minutes they showed really seemed to stress story over style. It had an 'epic' feel to it, granted that was only a short clip. Both of you have valid points...so stop arguing already.
His faith is often misguided and so ****ing blind. Which is how I end up vehemently hating some of the movies that he makes me watch. See: pretty much every single WKW movie except one and another movie than ends in "-owski" and the list goes on. Faith has nothing to do with it. I work hard for my money and I told like throwing it away on pieces of **** on celluloid. Adgy is all too easily impressed. He'd buy a bronzed piece of WKW's **** if it was available on Etsy.
Did they not show TinTin on Nickleodeon a long time ago? I want to say that I tried watching the show when I was younger and I wasn't impressed. Plus, his name is Tin Tin. TIN TIN!! That's a filipino nickname for little girls named Christine, not some dude with a dog.
At least your right 33% of the time...
Dunno about the Nick thing, but TinTin is like Katzenjammer Kids and The Little Prince. Even before my time and as foreign as vegimite. Adgy's blind faith...much like mine when it comes to certain things, is sure to have a majority of regrettable duds, but when it pays off...BAZINGA. Optimism ain't your strong suit sister, and once again, nobody is wrong here. Man you and Adgy are totally like the whole Lucy/Charlie Brown football kicking gag aren't ya? Opposites truly do attract.
