Will Gary Oldman finally get his Oscar?
Surprised to see Rooney Mara get the nod, especially over Tilda Swinton.

Maybe the best picture list should go back to 5 if crap like Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close is being nominated (48% on the Tomatometer)

Not at all excited by this. Could care less on most of the categories.
Paradise Lost 3: Purgatory should get the Best Documentary, Rise of the Planet of the Apes will get the Best Visual Effects and the rest are all meh.

I don't care if it really is good or not, but Moneyball has been getting pushed SO MUCH that I hope it wins NOTHING. If a film is that good, ads and promos and marketing and pimping it out shouldn't have to be this aggressive.
I hope Gary Oldman wins. That's really all I care about.

Somebody needs to clean the cat box. What a bunch of turds in Best Picture. I swear, every year the Academy nominates the same type of crap and it's almost laughable how you could have predicted ON RELEASE day at least 6 of these being nominated. As someone else said, I could care less about any of these flicks. Bunch of predictable garbage.

I seen it... and I liked it...... but I don't believe it deserves jack squat as far as awards go. Jonah Hill? Brad Pitt? Pffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff

Gary Oldman had damned well better win. PERIOD. The only other concern I have is the makeup category, which actually has some nominees where it was other than cosmetic. With Billy Crystal hosting and a lackluster field, this years 'West Hollywood Superbowl' may actually be THE real Superbowl w/a halftime show of Madonna & Cirque Du Soleil.

I pretty much agree. I only really care about Oldman winning.

GARY! GARY! GARY! GARY!
Has anyone actually seen the flick? I assume he's great in it just like in everything else, but howz the movie?

Worst reviewed movie in the past 10 years to get an Oscar nom for best picture and from what I have been reading, you could look up the tomatometer's from the past 25 and not find a worse picture.
