    THE GREY Trailer

Had a few invites to see test screenings of this that I could not make it to, not sure if that means it needed work or they wanted to generate buzz. Carnahan is good with big casts...could be interesting.

Guy Ritchie to Produce and Possibly Direct THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E.

I am far more interested in this with Ritchie than Soderbergh who really wanted to make this.

BATTLESHIP Editing Room Visit; Plus New Images from the Film

I know I know...but Peter Berg has made some decent flicks. I would like this movie to be good in spite of itself or at least so bad that it's entertaining.

First Look: Josh Brolin and Sean Penn in ‘Gangster Squad’ | /Film

Don't know if this is going to be as much action as crime semi-drama, but I'll put it here for now.

Well, it actually looks...ok. Sure, it's going to be stupid but Ray Stevenson looks like he's having a good time and so does The Rock. Can't be any worse than the other one.

Youch: Matt Damon Says Tony Gilroy's 'Bourne Ultimatum' Script Was An "Unreadable Career-Ender" | Filmmakers, Film Industry, Film Festivals, Awards & Movie Reviews | indieWIRE

"It's really the studio's fault for putting themselves in that position," Damon candidly told GQ in a recent profile. "I don't blame Tony for taking a boatload of money and handing in what he handed in. It's just that it was unreadable. This is a career-ender. I mean, I could put this thing up on eBay and it would be game over for that dude. It's terrible. It's really embarrassing. He was having a go, basically, and he took his money and left."

"We had a start date. Like, 'It's coming out August of next year.' We're like, 'Hang on, we've got to figure out what the script is,'" Damon continued. In the end, Scott Z. Burns (who would later write "The Informant!" which also starred Damon) and George Nofli (who penned "The Adjustment Bureau" as well as a draft of the aborted "Bourne 4") were brought in at the zero hour to get the movie into shape. And here's where the tale gets even more interesting.
    Interesting indeed.
