Video: Hitchcock Remembered By Colleagues - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors
This featurette exists to promote Sacha Gervasi‘s Hitchcock, an account of the making of Psycho and the relationships behind the scenes. Principally it’s about Hitch’s marriage to Alma Reville, and she’s not around to take part in this video, nor would she necessarily have agreed to.
Still, some credibility can be borrowed from chatting to several people who did know the man and asking them about the film, its authenticity, and Hitch himself.
Hitchcock Blu-ray
20th Century Fox Home Entertainment has revealed that it is planning to release a combo pack edition of director Sacha Gervasi's Hitchcock (2012), starring Anthony Hopkins, Helen Mirren and Scarlett Johansson. The preliminary release date set by the studio is March 12th.
Technical specs and supplemental features to be included with this upcoming release are yet to be revealed.
Digitally Re-Mastered Soundtracks For ‘The Third Man’ & ‘Vertigo’ On The Way
Last week, Milan Records announced the future releases of digitally remastered editions of Anton Karas’ score for the Carol Reed-helmed and Orson Welles-starring noir “The Third Man” and Bernard Herrmann’s score for the classic Alfred Hitchcock film -- and the greatest film of all time per Sight & Sound -- “Vertigo.”

Special features listed at the link.Universal Studios Home Entertainment has announced the 5-disc Blu-ray release of Alfred Hitchcock: The Essentials Collection, which features five classic Hitchcock films previously released as part of the 15-disc Alfred Hitchcock Masterpiece Collection. The Essentials Collection streets on June 4th.
Universally recognized as the Master of Suspense, the legendary Alfred Hitchcock directed some of cinema's most thrilling and unforgettable classics. The Essentials Collection features five iconic films from the acclaimed director's long and illustrious career -- Rear Window (1954), Vertigo (1958), North by Northwest (1959), Psycho (1960) and The Birds (1963) -- each digitally restored from high resolution film elements.
Technical specifications and special features are identical to each disc's Masterpiece Collection or individual release counterpart.

Still haven't seen the third or fourth one. Someday.These upcoming releases have not yet been dated, but they are expected to arrive on the market later this year.
