I guess I'm the only one that's bored by The Walking Dead now?
They could kill pretty much any of them and I wouldn't care.

Just going to add my thoughts even though you guys seems to have covered it all. The past episode was FAR better than the previous. I love than Daryl stood up to Merle, and that a little bit of their past was brought up. Although I would have like for there to have been a little more struggle between them before Daryl decided to head back to the prison. It's going to be interesting to see how the group handles having Merle back, or if the even accept him back.
I also want to know what happened with Tyrese and his group. I was certain they would have joined the prison group.

Totally forgot to mention the bit where Daryl kills the zombie with the trunk hood of the car. That was hilarious. Nice to see a little gore again.

Another fairly inert episode. I am not saying they need to kill someone every week, but maybe AMC knew what they were doing firing Mazzara. You have great pockets of drama, like last night's questioning of Rick by Herschell and the kid followed by really flat scenes like Tyrese and the gang's welcome to Woodbury. Talk about not being given anything to do by run and beg in alternating scenes. There is some good story to be mined with Andrea's torn loyalties, but like a lot of stuff on the show it's been terribly handled so far. Some things they can't mess up. Michael Rooker has my vote to play the Serpent if they ever do an Adam and Eve movie, because his scenes with Herscell/Michonne oozed with double handed sincerity. The scene between Carol(who still is billed as a guest star) and Darryl had a cute tension to it as well. As well as Carol's matter-of-fact 'do him...then do him' speech with Andrea. There just isn't enough of it. And please...I like Hardwick, but an hour of Talking Dead is too much.

I don't like Hardwick and the commercials for The Talking Dead are too much.

Ok, matter of taste. That's what they make dvr's for Doc. FFWD thru the commercials.

Perhaps Herschel should've talked Glen down when explaining that Merle had military experience and don't doubt his loyalty to hs brother, by also saying, "besides, he might come in handy"
