Walt should have given Jesse the location of the cabin in NH.

He could have spent his life building wooden boxes.

Considering Walt dies, Jesse escapes with permanent scars, Hank dies, Flynn loses his father physically and emotionally, and many other lives are ruined, I would call it a happy ending. The best outcome out of what was available perhaps, but not happy.

The episode itself wasn't the best episode they ever did, but I feel satisfied. No loose ends and no feeling of unfinished business. I agree with those who say that Gus was a much better villain. Part of that has to do with how interesting of a character he was, and part of it is because Giancarlo Esposito is a badass. And I definitely missed Mike this season.

The more I think about it, the more I think Jesse will have to go back to cooking meth. He's officially a fugitive with zero funds and no legal way to earn a living without alerting the authorities. He's pretty much ****ed unless he turns himself in and lawyers up. Better call Sa... wait. Never mind.

Is he actually a fugitive, though? Do we know that Hank and Gomez didn't inform anyone else about the whole thing? I don't remember whether or not that was explicitly stated, but you'd think Marie would have let them know.

Also, I feel bad for Huell.

Presumably Hank would still have Jesse's tape in the house. Wonder if he still had Walter's DVD in the house, too....

Maybe they should do a sequel. Return to (Vince) Gilligan's Island.

i totally agree. that would have been lame city. i did wonder if jesse would look after brock now that his mom is out of the picture but then i remembered he's got his grandmother (andrea's mom). it would've been too much of a fairytale ending to put that and all the above into a flashforward at the end.

But in the end he ended up trading it for some pot. Great scene showing Jesse realizing all his wasted potential.
i remembered he was into woodworking when i saw that scene, but i totally forgot all these details. thanks for observing and pointing that out. it really brings more meaning to that scene for me.
personally, i agree, there were better episodes but i felt like this one was one of the best ways to tie everything to a close. there weren't too many OMG jaw dropping surprises for me in this one, but no disappointments. i think what also took some of the surprise away for me was that a lot of peoples' predictions that i'd read were pretty accurate. (ie. walt poisons lydia, kills nazis, saves jesse, dies.) the scene with the schwartzes was a great one though. i honestly thought he would go in and kill them or do something out of revenge. but it turns out he really thought up a clever plan to give his son the money and it fit right in with his character.
that scene where he visited skyler was great also. kind of sad when he put his hand on holly's head. just the right amount of emotion there without going overboard.

once the DEA and the cops were alerted to his presence at the bar, i'm assuming they also searched the area and eventually found his hideout. not safe to run away to for anyone anymore.

And wore women's clothing and hung around in bars. Now THAT would have been a controversial ending.

We could only speculate about it, but i believe Jessy is free man, if coups would be looking for him they would put it in a show something like Walter White and Jessy Pinkman are wanted by police. No on BB said he is wanted though, not even Marie mention that he was at their house. Although I thought about possibility him going back to cooking meth, i don't think it will happen. I think he leaves NM and starts a new life.

The nazis stole the tape from Hank's house after they tortured Jesse to find out what the cops knew. Presumably, they would have destroyed it in the ensuing months since it implicated Todd in Drew Sharp's murder.

Jesse's finger prints are all over that meth lab. He's been arrested before, so most likely his prints are in some database. I'd say he's definitely on the run.

Well by Walt dying in the meth lab the authorities will probably assume he was the one pumping the blue for the last year instead of Jesse. Walter's last gift.
