So I'm all caught up with Turn minus the most recent episode.
I like it. It's not amazing or anything, and I think it could use a little more actual spying, but it's not a bad show.

I just hope they are smart enough to keep MacFayden's Queens Ranger on. Him and the bearded dude who is second to Talmadge are the best parts of the show. Simcoe is a little 'mustache twirling' as far as bad guys go...but yeah, it's watchable.

Nice turn of events on Mad Men for the finale, or whatever. The show is always ace when they focus on office politics and new business acquisition

it was ok. i liked some things, kind of didn't really care for others.

then to have bert die right after watching it was weird.
not to mention the closing scene where his ghost is show tuning in the office. it's not until i read up on it later that i found out the actor who plays him was known for performing like that in the 60s. that's not something the average viewer would know while watching though so it was kind of weird.
i liked the acquisition and what it might lead to in the 2nd half next year. roger was a boss. his character was great to watch all season. i'd have to say episodes 3-6 were the best.

Gonna sound nitpicky, but the "previews for next weeks' episode" have always been comically bad for Mad Men. I know Weiner is such a weirdo/stickler about any future info on the show being leaked...but those mini trailers are so worthless, they look bad.
In other news, get off my lawn!
