Bound to be a letdown after the Fring storyline. Don't get too down, BB always starts slow and finishes well...not sure how well that will work as far as there only being 5 left...we shall see.

It has started pretty slow but it's almost out of necessity. There's nowhere to go right now, they need to build something up again after tearing everything down in season 4. I'm confident it will pick up soon enough.

edit: Woah, only five episodes left of this season? I didn't even think about that.

ya wow, i can't believe there's only 5 more episodes for the year. geez walt is such an evil conniving prick. so much ego. wow. aside from what's been mentioned about him...

    ****************small SPOILER******************

when skyler has a breakdown and marie is concerned for her, walt deflects responsibility by saying she's upset because ted is not doing well. he outs her as an adulteress rather than say it's his "gambling" problem. then he doesn't even go to check on her after marie leaves. he just goes to the kitchen and gets an apple. so cold.

good point about mike and various characters teetering between good and bad.

I'm coming to the Breaking Bad party a bit late. I just started watching it on Netflix. I'm in the middle of season 2. Damn what a great show!

SirJW...I went back and rewatched, and I have to disagree. There is a LOT going on. It's just very quietly done. The scene w/ Walt telling Jesse that he's earned it was sweet and very touching, UNTIL later on in the episode after Jesse tries to talk to Walt about his decision just to be shut out. And yes, Lunchie nails it with the breakdown of the Walt/Marie scene. He's just gone full sociopath at this point. The 'Jesse James' line from Mike was certainly a line in the sand. Walt took down Gus Fring, sure...but Mike is a different animal entirely. And the element of surprise is gone now. I have mentioned it previously but Walt's inability to fear/overconfidence could be a scary thing. Mike is someone to be feared, clearly. It may not have the wide open drama of last season...yet, but this show is certainly still as high quality as it ever was. I ALMOST feel sorry for Skyler at this point. Not yet though.

The Walking Dead Is Taken Off American TVs, Zombies Attack New York In Protest | Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

As Season 3 of The Walking Dead gets ready to roll in the US, viewers who use DISH satellite receivers will most likely miss out as the cable provider has blacked out AMC – along with many other channels like WEtv and the Sundance channel – allegedly over a lawsuit dispute. American owners of DISH satellites are currently missing out on shows like Breaking Bad and Mad Men, yet according to AMC are still paying for the channels and shows that they’re not receiving.

To protest this and raise awareness, AMC have hit back at DISH with this hilarious promotional video, where they staged a zombie invasion of New York and successfully scared the pants off the city’s residents with zombie make-up of the same quality you’d see on The Walking Dead. Even if you’re unaffected by the DISH blackout, the video is worth watching for new characters like Traffic Cop Zombie, Shopaholic Zombie, and Roadwork Construction Zombie, as well as the reactions of people who run into them.
    Sorry X.
