THE WALKING DEAD 3.08 'Made to Suffer' | CraveOnline

We’re meant to think that the Governor is angry at Merle for lying to him about Michonne’s death and that’s why he thinks that Merle betrayed him to Rick’s group. But I don’t believe that for a second. I think that the Governor and Merle are playing a long con. At some point, Daryl and Merle will probably be allowed to escape in the hopes of getting Merle inside the prison as the Governor’s spy.

Of course, that’s just a theory. Either way, it should be fun to see how the Dixon boys get out of this one.

OOOOh damn...I wish I had thought of that.

It's an interesting idea, but I don't buy it. The way the governor "reassured" Merle that his brother wouldn't be harmed when they eventually invaded the prison, his suspicion towards Merle the last few episodes... I think it's what it looks like.

Just caught up on The Walking Dead. TV Show and comics.

My soul needs a shower. Badly.

    Barf barf barf barf....

Does anybody actually ENJOY this show or is it more something you endure out of morbid curiosity? I know for me it's the latter. This franchise has given me nightmares. I'm all honked up over it. Maybe I shouldn't have watched 2 seasons and read over 100 issues of the comic in under a week....

I 'endured' the second season of the show...just because it was disjointed and stoppy/starty. But I read the first few years of the comics and am all caught up on the show, and yeah...it's tense at times but to anyone who frequently watches horror(which I know you don't) it's actually pretty light/tame. I could recommend stuff that would really curl your toes Doc. Just lemme know when you are ready.

It's not the gore I mind or the "scares"... it's the never ending emotional torture. I think it doesn't bother me in movies because I know I'm just in for a 90 minute spree of potential death for every character but when I get invested in a show or comic I'm not anticipating that any and all characters could wind up dead (sometimes in really really really really really really really cruel horrible ways) at any minute.

And why do people care about the Zombie kills? The zombies are the the least compelling aspect of this show/comic. **** the zombies. They might as well be giant radioactive ants or talking dogs.

It just hit me that there isn't a Walking Dead tonight. That's a shame.

Emotional torture is the best kind of entertainment.

‘Hell on Wheels’ Season 3 Is Back on Track | CraveOnline

Back in October, AMC renewed Hell on Wheels for a third season while announcing the departure of series creators Joe and Tony Gayton. However, the network quickly halted the third season order when Hell on Wheels showrunner John Shiban also left the series.

While the renewal of the series was contingent upon finding a new showrunner, Hell on Wheels is once again set for a third season according to Deadline. Veteran TV producer, John Wirth will be the new showrunner for season three once he finishes up his stint as a consultant on the upcoming third season of TNTs Falling Skies.

Wirth previously served as the showrunner of NBCs The Cape and co-showrunner of Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Wirths other TV credits include The District, Ghost Whisperer, Nash Bridges and The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.; which was also a western series (with some sci-fi elements) starring Bruce Campbell in the title role.

In a statement to Deadline, AMCs Senior Vice President of Scripted Development, Susie Fitzgerald said As we gear up for season three of Hell On Wheels we are pleased to have such an accomplished showrunner as John Wirth join our team. With the help of our partners at Entertainment One, Endemol and Nomadic, we look forward to a new season of the poetic and pulpy adventures of Cullen Bohannan and the other characters as they build the railroad across the US.

A start date for Hell on Wheels season three has not yet been set, but the series is likely to return to AMC in 2013.
    Alrighty then.
