Comic Con: ARCHER Interviews with H. Jon Benjamin, Amber Nash, Aisha Tyler and Chris Parnell

The Archer panel was one of the highlights of SDCC, H.Jon Benjamin is an evil genius. BTW, Doc...the question came up re:FRISKY DINGO, where would season 3 had gone??? Apparently Killface was to be called home to fulfill some sort of King Lear obligations. Someday

Yea... the end of Season 2 was some cliffhangery blue balls to be sure.

The fact that The X-Tacles show only had two episodes was a bummer too.

Have you watched any of it yet?

BD Horror News - TV: Beavis And Butthead Do 'Human Centipede'?

I think it's safe to assume that most of us grew up watching Beavis And Butthead, whether we had to sneak out after our parents were asleep to watch it or not (maybe that last part was just me...). Mike Judge has done a lot of great, noteworthy things since the show ended - Office Space and Idiocracy are brilliant - but the two slackers inspire quite a bit of nostalgia and randomly show up on MTV every now and then. There's been talk of Beavis And Butthead making a comeback for quite a while and at this past Comic-Con, Judge showed off a preview of some new bits which you can check out after the break.

The guys used to spend their time ridiculing music videos but they've kind of expanded their horizons - hopefully not THAT much - and are going to be reviewing flicks in an 'At The Movies' sort of setting, starting with The Human Centipede.

"Thatís the only one Iíve done so far and one of the things I have them do after they show a clip of the movie is I have them talking about how thereís going to be a Sex and the City 3, why donít they combine it with a Human Centipede sequel and just have those girls all get lost in the forest, the doctor strings them all together and you get two sequels in one," said Judge. "Since Iíve done that, now there is a sequel to Human Centipede. Itíll still play hopefully. Thatís part of the reason weíre waiting is we want to do a movie thatís just coming out. We have this animated set of them on a Siskel and Ebert like set."

Brawndo is sponsoring the show, right?

I guess it proves you can feed kids a steaming pile of PG rated junk and they'll go see it (Smurfs, Yogi Bear) vs Winnie the Pooh, which had much better reviews but tanked at the box office.

The only thing I can think of as a reason for this is marketing. I don't remember seeing ANY ads for Winnie other than a stand in a theater, but Smurfs **** was everywhere.

    Sad.

Why does no one blame the parents. It's not like 8 year olds are taking themselves to the movies. When I was a kid we had a say in what we wanted to see but ultimately the choice was made by my parents. Because of that I was exposed to stuff that my young mind may not have been drawn to. Simply indulging your child every time they point at the tv and shout 'shiny' is one of the reasons that kids entertainment sucks so bad.

I'm not going to give the parents full pass, but... when the kids see Smurfs **** on TV, they want to see it. All their friends want to see it. Then the weekend rolls around and you can either take your kid to see what they want to see or what you want them to see.

As crap as it is, I'm not going to blame them for taking the kid to see what the kid wants to see and what all the kids friends are seeing.
