saw a Brave screening at work just now.

Liked it - a bit intense in a few scenes for very little kids, but overall quality pixar entertainment. (and those were some bare male gluteus maximus' they showed)

Few people in our department felt this was a bit more "disney fairytale-ish" then "100% Pixar story telling". Perhaps true, but I was entertained, and the right messages are there. It's definitely a good mother/daughter film.

Great scenery throughout, much of which took me right back to my trip to Scotland some 7 years ago.

the article hints at problems...not sure, the animation is VERY detailed and they paneled at SDCC and are doing it again this year. I just think Adult Swim is pretty casual about **** and very creator friendly...and this prolly was not ready. I just read that Orlando Jones(MadTV, Replacements, Office Space) is going to be at the panel, which is awesome because I have always thought he should be a huge star.

Looks annoying, but if you have kids it might be preferable to Smurfs or some other nonsense.

so...Brave did pretty good.
