LA: See THE FP In The Real FP! | Badass Digest
The FP is the next film to be released under the Drafthouse Films banner; it’s a very weird, hugely tongue in cheek movie about two rival gangs who settle their disputes with a Dance Dance Revolution-esque video game. They’re vying for control of a place called The FP… which happens to be a real place in Southern California. Just north of LA, Frazier Park is the home town of the Trost Brothers, who wrote and directed The FP.
Drafthouse is bringing The FP to the real FP this weekend, doing a Rolling Roadshow screening of the movie where it was shot. Admission is free, but you’ll need to bring your own chairs and blankets to this outdoor screening (it’s gonna get cold up there in the mountains). Also, no food or drink will be served, so bring your own!
The free outdoor screening will be at the Tait Ranch in Frazier Park, on Saturday, August 6th at 9:30pm. The Trost Brothers – and some of the stars – will be in attendance. I think this movie is a total, crazy blast, and this will be a great (AND FREE!) way to see it. Click here for a map to the Tait Ranch.
