I like SEASON OF THE WITCH and don't appreciate when people bash it! :pssst:
Not here, but so many peeps love to badmouth it. I like that they tried to do something different and they should had kept with it. *sigh*
Then again, we wouldn't had gotten that creepy kid character played by Danielle Harris. mhihi:

SCOTT PILGRIM VS. THE WORLD to Be Screened Monthly at the New Beverly
As much as I love Edgar Wright, this flick doesn't have the same rewatch value of SOTD/HotFuzz. It's still good, but after a few viewings I burnt out and remembered why I hate Michael Cera...
Special Events-September 2011 | The Cinefamily
Ok, how awesome is this????
Your good friend and humble narrator(me) is going to be moving into the area soon(more on that later), and damned if I ain't thinking about signing up for the yearly donation/passQuote:
9/5 - 6PM $10/free for members NOTE: The films we’ll be showing in this show are too mind-warping, eyeball-searing and just plain freaky for tykes and tots. Hell, we’re not even sure it’s all safe enough for ADULT eyes — so we recommend that children under 16 do not attend this event.
Summer’s around the corner, and you know how we here at the Cinefamily love two things in tandem: busting out the patio grill, and The Five Minutes Game. What’s all this about a game, you ask? We’re firm believers in “Every movie is interesting for at least its first five minutes”, those fascinating moments when you’re still entering the new world a film presents you, and trying to figure out what the hell’s going on. What we’re gonna do is choose fifteen movies you’ve likely never seen before (with most, if not all the films unavailable on DVD), line ‘em up, and only show you the first five minutes of each, not counting their opening credits. After all that, you, the audience, gets to vote on which film out of the fifteen we all then watch in its entirety. Since we’ve kicked off the Five Minutes Game a few years ago, we’ve had a total blast bringing to you giant swathes of mind-boggling movie choices, but this time around, we thought we’d shake it all up a bit — so for this Labor Day’s installment, it’s all kids’ films, all the time! In keeping with September’s theme, we’ve got a slate of fifteen impossibly warped pieces of childrens’ entertainment for you to choose from. So, bring something to cook on our grill, and let’s get started!
