Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, and Jonah Hill Making R-Rated Animated Film SAUSAGE PARTY | Collider

Sausage Party is a raunchy animated movie about one sausage’s quest to discover the truth about his existence. After falling out of a shopping cart, our hero sausage and his new friends embark on a perilous journey through the supermarket to get back to their aisles before the 4th of July sale.
Am I the only one who is already laughing? I think it's brilliant that they are starting with the 'Pixar' type concept and are gonna R rate it up. So IN.

They played some Mitch Hedberg on the 5:00 Funnies today. Man, he was great - I wish I could have seen him do standup.

He is one of my top 5.

THE SPOILS OF BABYLON Trailer Featuring Jessica Alba, Haley Joel Osment, Kristen Wiig and Tobey Maguire | Collider

At long last, the epic, sprawling, best-selling novel The Spoils of Babylon, from author Eric Jonrosh, will be adapted as a six-part mini-series for IFC. If you haven’t heard of Jonrosh before, that’s likely because he doesn’t exist, rather he is a creation of Will Ferrell, along with the project itself. Telling the tale of the mighty Morehouse family, The Spoils of Babylon will take viewers on a whirlwind adventure around the globe and across time.

The Spoils of Babylon stars Jessica Alba, Will Ferrell, Jellybean Howie, Val Kilmer, Tobey Maguire, Haley Joel Osment, Tim Robbins, Michael Sheen, Steve Tom and Kristen Wiig with a cameo by David Spade and the voice of Carey Mulligan. The mini-series (edited down from Jonrosh’s original 22-hour version) will air on IFC starting January 9, 2014

This is not the trailer in the link...couldn't find embed, I recommend clicking and watching. It looks self indulgent and hilarious.

Here's to DEVIL'S NIGHT, my new favorite holiday, which re-teams Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly! - Ain't It Cool News: The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.

When John C. Reilly first joined Will Ferrell on TALLADEGA NIGHTS: THE BALLAD OF RICKY BOBBY, I doubt anyone knew that their partnership would define the next chapter of the P.T.A. favorite's career. But not only did that movie define him as a serious comic talent, one that would anchor his own vehicles like WALK HARD, THE PROMOTION, and CYRUS (not to mention the Steve Brule character, who got his own series with CHECK IT OUT! WITH DR. STEVE BRULE), but it established that the two together had a certain madcap chemistry that they carried over into STEP BROTHERS, TIM AND ERIC'S BILLION DOLLAR MOVIE, and, if rumors are true, ANCHORMAN 2: THE LEGEND CONTINUES. Now, according to The Wrap, the two have been linked to an upcoming comedy called DEVIL'S NIGHT, which, once again, pairs them off as best friends, this time in a Halloween-centric plot.

The two will play Leonard and Gabe, who, as kids (and presumably in or around Detroit), started the titular tradition of firing **** up on the night before All Hallows' Eve. Now that they're middle-aged men, they have to put the kibosh on the yearly festivities when the overly rowdy local kids threaten to burn their whole neighborhood down. Sounds a little like THE WATCH meets HALLOWEEN III: SEASON OF THE WITCH…or is that a reach?

YES MAN writers Jarrad Paul and Andrew Mogel wrote the current draft of the film, which I'd expect will get a once-over from Ferrell and maybe even Reilly (who had a screenplay credit on STEP BROTHERS). No word on who will direct, but I wouldn't be surprised if the boys brought in their buddy Adam McKay just to cover their bases. Why ruin a good thing?

I want to shoot the TV everytime a "Bad Grandpa" ad comes on, sure they are real people, really compensated having to watch bad gags.

NYFF Review: Ben Stiller's 'The Secret Life Of Walter Mitty' Co-Starring Kristen Wiig | The Playlist

Bearing these myriad problems in mind, “Walter Mitty’ is not a terrible movie per se, but it is largely unsophisticated and prosaic in most of its sentiments. Extremely ambitious in scope—the movie takes on several genres at once, including fantasy, romantic comedy, action, adventure and more—“The Secret Life of Walter Mitty” does have good intentions, but the road here is often paved with cloying misdirection.
