WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS Trailer

Even if you’re burnt out from vampire flicks over the last decade or so, you’ve got to at least take a look at the latest effort from Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. The vampire mockumentary, What We Do in the Shadows, was written and directed by the duo, who also star alongside Jonathan Brugh and Cori Gonzalez-Macuer. The mockumentary is about a group of vampires who live together in Wellington, New Zealand, and explores mundane struggles like paying rent, trying to get into nightclubs, and overcoming flatmate conflicts.

Anyone been watching Comedy Underground with Dave Attell? Great source of some uncensored foul and hilarious comedy.

    Here's the first episode
DeRosa, Fowler, Oakerson - Comedy Underground with Dave Attell | Comedy Central Episode - Season 1 - Ep. 104 | Comedy Central

    Jay Oakerson was hilarious.

I've watched the first few episodes. Finding it kind of hit and miss, but I will always give Attell whatever ratings support I can.

Review: 'Neighbors' With Seth Rogen & Zac Efron Is One Of The Funniest Studio Comedies In Recent Memory|The Playlist

The movie as a whole has a wonderfully playful rhythm, with the jokes rising and falling like crests of a giant ocean wave. But the party sequences really allow the filmmakers to break that rhythm and stretch themselves creatively; they're each like their own little movies. Away from the slightly pat comedies that he has made in the past, Stoller shines. Like Rogen, he seems to have found freedom in maturity, recognizing that it's easy to find the sublime in silliness. Or is it the other way around? With "Neighbors," we laughed until we ached. Then we laughed some more. [A-]
    Hoping to see this tonight.

Review: Richard Ayoade's 'The Double' Starring Jesse Eisenberg Is Bonkers, Hilarious And Wickedly Clever|The Playlist

Granted there are some minor flaws here and there—one particular late cameo is jarring and tonally out of sync with the rest of the movie—but we can't remember the last film that strode on the screen so boldly with a promise to present something totally different, and delivering so completely. Whether or not Ayoade felt his own creative personality slipping away by the phantom presence of Anderson when "Submarine" came out, perhaps we'll never know, but "The Double" makes no doubt that he's got his own voice and vision. Totally bonkers, hilarious and wickedly clever, "The Double" is special and singular filmmaking at its best. [A-]

Thought Neighbors was really good. Some wasted characters. Solid 4/5.

Hurm. LOTS of funny moments, seriously. BUT sufferered from a third act that tried to redeem the FRAT, and Zac Effron. A LOT of funny moments...but just not the GREAT FRAT MOVIE.
