Recently had a discussion w/SmytheKing and brought up the fact that the Following could have the most dreck filled 42 minutes, but their use of a music montage to close out the last 3 always convinced me I watched some good tv...
Like 'The Following' Or Not, It Has Some Awesome Music -

not much music to round out last night.
So far the whole twins/mother story has not hooked me at all. The whole scene with getting the twin back was lame, even if psycho max is a little fun. I thought it would be fun if it was "Joe's clan" vs. "Pyscho mom's clan" with Ryan and Max in the middle, but not so much. The twists (so far) are just blah not to mention ridiculous story, but I like Kevin Bacon a lot so I'm trying to stick with it. Oh and his niece is setting up for some serious torture.
The head FBI agent is really lame. If she's not in on it with her wife, then she can probably be killed off sooner rather than later for ridiculous incompetence

Good episode the other night. Back on track?
after a lousy first few it would seem that The Following has found a good direction. Yeah, it's ludicrous...but fun in a Banshee/Bates Motel kind of way.
Idk after last week's "cult orientation/celebration" it may have jumped the shark for me. Might give it one more episode, haven't watched this week's yet.
Like I said, it's pretty silly. But last night's episode seems to have righted the ship...and there is some fun to be had with the cult and their leader...and spoiler alert
Joe starts to act like Joe again as far as manipulatin' and such.
The guest stars have been strong w/ Beecher from Oz and Greg Henry last night.
