A little sweet, a little sad...with some terrific laughs at really inappropriate times. It ended in character. Rest in peace Lou...we're gonna miss ya!

Pretty fair eulogy. Look, I know that Rescue Me kinda spun out over the last few seasons, but it's a tribute to them that I will actually miss this show rather than just being satisfied with it being over.

I enjoyed the "Rescue Me" finale. The whole fiasco with Lou's ashes was so perfect as well as Lou's letter. All in all very well done in my opinion and glad they gave Tommy some closure on "not finding solace in the bottom of the bottle." I did enjoy his daydream of chopping up Lou's office though.
