was reading in Entertainment Weekly that the stars were a little offput by the sexual perversity expressed in the scripts. Some of the things I recall were a major character having a fetish with men in rubber suits(clearly, from the ads), and another being watched whilst frapping by a burned man. Like I said, before Glee, Ryan Murphy was the mad genius behind Nip/Tuck which was pretty much a soap opera wrapped in kink and horror. This should be Southern Gothic oddness with a lot of icky bits that I have no doubt Fx will allow him to push as far as TV will allow and then some. Looking very forward to this...even if it's bad it will be some good fun.

Rescue me finale...
A little sweet, a little sad...with some terrific laughs at really inappropriate times. It ended in character. Rest in peace Lou...we're gonna miss ya!

Series finale review: Rescue Me - Ashes: Crawling from the wreckage - HitFix.com
Pretty fair eulogy. Look, I know that Rescue Me kinda spun out over the last few seasons, but it's a tribute to them that I will actually miss this show rather than just being satisfied with it being over.

By the way, I would like bagpipes to play Inna-Gadda-Da-Vida at my ashes release. Public record.

I enjoyed the "Rescue Me" finale. The whole fiasco with Lou's ashes was so perfect as well as Lou's letter. All in all very well done in my opinion and glad they gave Tommy some closure on "not finding solace in the bottom of the bottle." I did enjoy his daydream of chopping up Lou's office though.
