I agree on his not having suffered enough, but he got what was coming to him. In fact seeing Cersei and the hand just watching as he did all that to Tyrion, I wanted them all to suffer badly.
But I agree with JD that once an episode has aired on the west coast, all discussion of said episode is fair game.
Lena Headey rocks... Cersei... not so much.
Anyone else love "Vikings" too?
no more book talk, I swear!
just a few more random thoughts on the episode....Oberyn talking **** about the Lannisters to their faces was glorious. he's definitely growing on me. and did anyone else think Cersei's "you love him" line to Brienne was super out of character? I really feel like she wouldn't give two ****s about Brienne. it just seemed really high school to me, like Jaime is the popular jock and Cersei's the jealous cheerleader girlfriend.
also: Margaery's hair was insane.
"Hockey won't hold still to give you a better look. You wouldn't want it to anyway. It's the action that makes the possibilities endless."
Ok...while I agree 'In the book' should mostly be kept to the other thread...please. If it is a comparison to an event that has been shown on the tv show it is entirely valid as long as it does not spoil further developments. Just be careful what you post folks, but realize that almost anything can foretell something that is going to happen down the line without even realizing it, which was the situation with Dexter's post. It's a tough line to tow, just do your best.
And yes, as far as fantasy/action goes GoT has really opened doors for fine shows like Vikings/Black Sails.
And mmmcammy, yes, Oberyn was downright spectacular last night. The open hostile contempt in the face of the stoic Lannister dignity was outstanding. In fact, there were so many nice moments between characters, including Brienne being shocked into facing what she may not have realized(which was TOTALLY Cersi...she is a petty mean spirited beeyotch and when she is hurting will lash out like a wounded animal). The 'entertainment' was soooo hostile and offensive to everyone that it's hard to imagine Joff would have lived much longer either way. Another great episode.
And man, this pie IS dry!!!!
the sigur ros rendition of rains of castamere was excellent, as was the episode
I loved the exchange between Jaime and Loras....
You'll never marry her.
And neither will you.
Is it okay to talk about the show now?
