Another "wow" episode. Tyrion speech was CLASSIC!
The entire trial was fantastic. Dinklage delivered in a very important scene, which he has achieved every single time.
The only scene that sucked was the rescue mission for Reek that ended with dogs running the Ironborn out.

If words are the weapon of choice, Tyrion will win the trial by combat. The entire trial segment was beautifully conceived and performed but Dinklage's performance stands above them all.
Excellent episode! Agree that the trial was very well done!
Yeah, this will definitely be the Emmy submission episode for Dinklage. The range of emotions he expressed without a word was pretty good stuff, especially when he saw Shae before the audience did. Knew that was coming, but I didn't expect it to sting like it did. They did a terrific job(and here is one for the show) fleshing out her character so that the inevitable betrayal felt SO much worse than it did in the books. Charles Dance was actually pretty terrific in those scenes too(in 'court'/with Jamie) because he barely held the facade of sophisticated arrogance knowing that he was going to get his way, and then getting it even more than he could have hoped.
The Theon/Ramsey stuff was kinda icky...I would imaging there will be a meme by days end of the delighted look on Ramsey's face when Reek dropped his britches and he saw the ruin that he left there(thankfully off camera). Was expecting it to get worse, thankfully it didn't. They are veering a little from the book on that story too, and as the lone sympatizer for poor Theon I look forward to see where it goes.
The Stannis/Davos stuff, while I know it's not everyone's favorite, was necessary...and it will pay off, I have to believe that. Is there anyone more singularly loyal than Old Davos??? Terrific casting there, really.
Yeah, a real good episode and it seems they have hit upon a new template this season, go to smaller scenes early, moving from character to character, and then finish strong with an extended piece. It's a good format...always good to end strong.
Glad Varys was back last night too, nice scene with him and Oberyn, who I have to admit I find myself liking more each episode.
