I finished A Storm of Swords earlier today, and ...ummm.....HBO better not **** this up. And they better address some of the things they left out of Daenerys' story in season two. Something that affects her way of thinking in the third book. With all that happens, I really hope they stretch this out into two seasons like some have mentioned. Gonna go back and go through the books again before I start A Feast for Crows.

This will most likely be the last I comment on the books in this thread........I just finished A Feast for Crows, and while I was not really liking it in the beginning, I was much enjoying it towards the end. Oh man, i can't wait to see how this plays out a few years from now. But then again, based on that last link JD provided, it seems like they may be rushing through book 3 instead of spreading it out over two seasons......Is it March 2013, yet!?!?
I'm going to start A Dance with Dragons tomorrow, and I have to admit I may have spoiled a few things for myself. I went ahead and looked at the chapter names. I was giddy like a school girl when i saw a few of them.

I'm a bit underwhelmed by Tyrion's scar. I was expecting something more gruesome, you know? Like half of his nose to be missing.

Well, he's not supposed to be halfway decent looking either, so I can forgive that scar.
