Good episode tonight, back in line with the quality of most of the season. I really like the portrayals of Jojen and Meera, both in terms of the actors and the writing for them. Great line Jojen gives when Meera comes up behind Osha. I also liked Anguy and his arrow trick, and Emma Peel pretty much nailed Olenna.
Margaery is incredible. She is in trouble with Joffrey at the beginning of their conversation, calms him down, butters the living crap out of him, and pretty much has him dangling from her strings in just five minutes. You can see it in his eyes how overjoyed he is, thinking "she gets me! she gets me!" when she pretends to share his interest in killing things. Also, the cleavage.
Brienne vs. Jamie was done very well - a good exciting fight and you could see her wearing him down with her superior strength and her armor. Jamie should have tried to tire her out by forcing a lot more movement.
It's good that they are not overdoing it, which would be very easy, but would it kill them to give me one "You know nothing, Jon Snow"? And it might be nice to have Arya recite her list when one of the names on it is about to show up.
Yeah Margaery is very crafty, that's for sure. Another solid episode, nothing incredible but moving along. I should have sympathy for Theon because he's such a sad, conflicted character but I'm having a hard time with that, that jerk razed Winterfell. Interested to see what will come of this new psychic kid and his sister.
And I'm happy to see the Hound again, even though Arya clearly isn't for obvious reasons.
Yeah, it was great to see the Hound again. And yeah...ditto on Mags and Lady O. Still disagree w/Darby...I love love love Ciaran Hines as Mance. And, with respect to Doc Naysay & Big Brown
...I have dusted off the Books/Spoilers thread. I will mostly post in there because it is almost impossible to discuss things without expressing my feelings as a reader of the books. So, if you are caught up...for the sake of others, join me there.
Also: DIRE WOLVES! So cute and vicious :heart2:
