A couple of "oh ****" moments in this episode. I am very pleased.
Yeah you should like next week's episode quite a bit too. Any of the readers who check in on this thread, is it my imagination or did they do a lot of story tinkering last night. I can tell you they took one event and superimposed it over another simply to clarify events. Once again, I get it, because leaving things ambiguous is dangerous with the huge audience this show has(you have to cater to the masses so...) but there are some things that they are overexplaining a bit. They did a lot with a little last night, Rob's victory/Qarth/etc so once again, kudos to the creators for squeezing so much out of their budget. That's going to get tougher and tougher but the decisions are clearly in good hands. When I first saw who they cast as Brienne, I wasn't sure...but they clearly know better than I. After watching last weeks episode again it's another solid choice. Just a great show and it will continue to get better. No sophomore slump here.
Oh and btw...Quote of the season so far, Bronn:'Well there's no cure for being a ****.'
The second best line was the, 'he is born of salt and smoke(sic)'...'what is he, a ham?'
Tyrion really seems to be playing with fire down in King's Landing. He's got some balls I'll give him that but he's definitely not making any friends.
