I thought the movie was quite good. The 3D didn't seem to add much for me and I always find the glasses distracting. The Snape flashback sequence was excellent.

I thought the final scene was touching but only Ginny Weasley actually looked older, so I didn't really feel the moment and instead found myself wondering why they didn't do a more convincing make-up job.

I saw it again yesterday, this time in 2D, which I thought was a better experience. I better understood some of the subtleties of the story, and found it much more moving this time, even though I had seen it before. Also liked the ending better, realizing that it was really only Emma Watson who didn't look her supposed age.

Bellatrix's death is probably the low point for me. She looks as if she was turned to stone and then explodes. If they had to go Hollywood on us, they could have had her fall over and break into a bunch of big pieces, like a fallen statue, with her face still recognizable. Would have been more satisfying. The whole scene was rushed.

Molly's smiling triumphant look when she does her in is complete bull**** too.
