‘Knuckle’ Theatrical Trailer: Documentary About Bare Knuckle Boxing Families

We’ve all been so mad at someone we wanted to punch them in the face. Some of us might have even gone through with it. But with Knuckle, Ian Palmer‘s documentary about a long lasting family feud between Irish clans, we see where real anger leads. Palmer shot the film over a decade as two families with a deep seeded hatred of each other continually settle the score in illegal bare knuckle boxing matches for huge sums of money. The winners are loved and respected by their family. The losers, shamed for not defending the family name.
The film, which had its world premiere at Sundance in January and was optioned by HBO to be turned into a TV series, will be playing at Fantastic Fest next week before its release date of December 2.

Adrian Pasdar and Michael Imperioli to Star in HBO’s 40
So...it's Men Of A Certain Age, right???With Entourage all wrapped up after eight seasons (and a mostly disappointing last round of episodes), creator Doug Ellin is already onto his next project, a new comedy pilot called 40. The series follows four four lifelong friends who help each other navigate life at 40. Basically it sounds like Entourage without all the Hollywood rigamarole, but the cast does sounds pretty interesting. Michael Rappaport and Ed Burns were previously cast as two of the four friends in the project, and now The Live Feed has word that Adrian Pasdar (Heroes) and Michael Imperioli (The Sopranos) will play the other two buddies. Pasdar will pull double duty on TV since he is also part of the ABC Family series The Lying Game, whereas Imperioli spent some time with HBO on the aforementioned mobster drama. The cast at least has me interested in the project, and if anything, Ellin knows how to craft a show with an ensemble that really feel like genuine friends on screen.
