Wow, the ending! Was that the girl's 'Dance Instructor' who found her at the end? I predict she will do unkind things to the young 'King' Joffrey.

**** me. On one hand, I love shows where the main characters are in actual danger of being killed, some shows feel like the A-Team where you know they'll all get out safe and sound without consequence by the end. On the other hand, Ned Stark was the man! It sucks to have him die.
Seriously....why Ned Stark...why?!?!?!?!?
I started watching this show as well, because of Sean Bean.
I can't believe that happened....im still in shock.
Snow and Robb better kick some major arse.
I woke up this morning with the ending on my mind. Sean Bean, you complete me.

I haven't read all the books, but the death of Ned Stark is just the beginning of all kinds of **** you don't want/expect to happen.
Yeah...when the King died I had a feeling that this story was going to go in directions that weren't going to be easy. I agree with BigBrown and I appreciate the willingness to sacrifice a character for the story...but damn. Sean Bean is becoming one of those guys that appears in things just to be killed. What a shame. I have a feeling that Dinklage isn't signed for a long run either(don't know this, just think it...). The worst part is that he sacrificed his honor(for the sake of his children). Heartbreaking. MUCH LANNISTER BLOOD NEEDS TO BE SPILLED!!!!!!!!!!! Especially the inbred King. And no, that wasn't the dance teacher(fairly sure he didn't make it, sadly) who saved the girl, there clearly was a connection between him and Ned, but I have a feeling we will have to wait to learn that.
