I don't know...I am hearing so many complaints about the show...the women are always the cause of trouble, nobody likes the 'young romance', etc. I find the show wonderfully entertaining. It's been a real surprise.
Ok, so this weeks True Blood. Still trending upwards. Little bit less than last week, but progress is progress.
Lafayette's Mom is awesome. More please.
Why do the 'wolves have to be browndirt cowboy biker trash?
Gettting a little bored with Eric's sister...just shows how bad the writing is that she was basically put in as a plot device(to not-very-well take suspiscion off of Salome) and then just written into a circle.
Thanks for stopping by Chris Meloni. There's some lovely parting gifts. We know we gave you nothing to do but wear schmedium t-shirts and have wide eyed soliloquies but you helped us prove our (apparent) point...
That Vampires are either stupid as hell or just lose interest after living for centuries. Really, if I were a vamp I'd sue this show for portraying me as a total mouthbreathing dumbass. Ok, so was it Eric or Bill that killed the Stackhouses? And why?
Well, yeah. But there is probably some other half baked reason/conspiracy too. It has to be Bill or Eric...how else would they continue to work that love triangle to death. Getting a little circular again. Salome finally had to spell things out, because apparently vampires are pretty ****ing stupid. Liked the vamps gone wild segment. Bar scene kinda reminded me of Near Dark. Jesus' dad(?) sure turned out to be lame. And the Terry/Ifrit thing has already worn out it's novelty and is just being padded out. This continues to be a terrible disappointment when you consider just how rich the material can be. It's not at all interesting from a drama/storytelling standpoint and if you stripped away the magical aspects it wouldn't be worth watching at all. And Tara is so annoying that she takes any fun/sexuality out of pole dancing.
SPOILERS TO FOLLOW:
Funny moment for me last night regarding that bit. Was a friends house and her little seven year old wouldn't go to his room while we were all watching it. So, the mom made him sit with her and not watch. Well, as kids do, he was peeking and finding ways to see. Anyway, after that chick cuts the string from his mouth, the little one says totally innocently, "She's a nice lady." I laughed for a good five minutes considering what she had just done prior.
So some bad ass vampire killed her parents and Terry has to kill the other guy to stop the smoke monster. Cool.
Olivia Munn was actually decent for once.
