    I hardly know where to start with comments on that finale- but I guess we'll have plenty of time to speculate between now and the start of season two. And as god is my witness, if HBO does to Thrones what they did with Deadwood I'll drop the fuggers once and for all!!

    Man they're killing all my favorite characters but the show is still great. If nothing else, my hatred for that inbred brat king will keep me watching.

    Gonna be a loooong wait for next season.

    Hurm. I couldn't help but feel that was a letdown last night. Ned Stark's brilliant death was such a highpoint(and a lowpoint cause it sucked to lose him), and that was followed up with an episode that basically would have been great if it had not been a season finale. So much was set up...but now a friggin year will pass before they pick up the story. That's the problem with doing this on television. I am about to start reading the books, but it seems so far that this story is in perpetual motion w/not clear stoppage points. So 12 months is a momentum killer. I don't know how I feel about the dragons yet, you kind of knew that was going to happen at some point. Most importantly there was no spilling of Lannister blood. That is the biggest disappointment of all.
    To those of you who are afraid HBO is going to drop this at some point, prepare yourself. There is no guarantee that they are going to finish the first book, much less the other five...and honestly, if they did, we are all going to be 16 or 17 years older when they do.
