How we made The Wicker Man | Film | The Guardian
The final scene, the sacrifice, took place in Dumfriesshire. The wicker man was enormous. The stunned look on Howie's face when he first sees it wasn't acting – up until then, Edward had only seen drawings. He clambered in and we set it on fire, filming from the inside. There was a goat inside there, above us. Understandably concerned about the fire, it pissed on us.
Julia Garner Talks WE ARE WHAT WE ARE and SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR | Collider
Remake of the Spanish flick getting very good reviews and a lot of the deserves to exist as much as the original sentiment. Now playing @ the Nuart. Got a gang of movies to catch up on, but maybe this one moves up a few rungs.
[Fantastic Fest '13 Review] 'We Are What We Are' Is the Best Cannibal Movie Since 'Ravenous' -
'We Are What We Are' Is the Best Cannibal Movie Since 'Ravenous' is really all I need to read. Ravenous still makes me gag a little without showing anything. Another wellllllll underrated movie that may turn you off meat...PARENTS w/Randy Quaid. I cannot even watch that movie again.
Isn't Eli Roth's next movie about cannibals too? Really eager to check that one out.
Don't forget today starts 31 nights of horror!!!
I started with Frankenstein!
Every day a new horror movie/TV show/something to do with horror.
Writer/Director Don Mancini CURSE OF CHUCKY Interview | Collider
Lagwagon is not a fan...I remain optimistic. That being said, Bride and Seed are my faves...so silly and over the top...yet this franchise IS about a doll.
It may be fine for a hardcore Chucky fan, and I admittedly haven't seen any of the other recent Chucky movies.
