Is the Blu the uncut version? IIRC, my DVD of Imprint is not.

AICN HORROR looks at some short films worth screaming about; NO REST FOR THE WICKED! HOME! AN EVENING WITH MY COMATOSE MOTHER! OCULUS! & HELPING HAND!
Ain't It Cool News: The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.

Spawning from his hit comic THE DEVIL’S HANDSHAKE from Archaia, Ryan Schiffrin writes and directs this short horror adventure romp featuring the title’s two main characters Basil & Moebius. Basil (Ray Park) is a street tough brawler while Moebius (Zachary Levi) plays a dashing cat burglar playboy. Together the two are the stuff that makes for good adventure. Schiffrin goes for broke here as Basil and Moebius are out to find a map to a secret treasure. On their quest they run into a maniacal Malcolm MacDowell, zombie ghouls, and a kung fu monkey. Filled with action and humor, Schiffrin packs a lot into this short film.

You have to put a tag around it. If you click on the button it uses [VIDEO], so do that. Rinkrat said he might try to fix that at some point, but it's low on the priority list.

On the bright side, you can embed more than just YouTube now.

Final Destination 5 (2011) | Horror Movie, DVD, & Book Reviews, News, Interviews at Dread Central

I will be absolutely straight with you, dear readers- like many of you, my two main reasons for ever stepping foot in a theater to watch a Final Destination movie are the epic opening disaster sequence and the gloriously intricate death traps awaiting the survivors of said epic opening disaster sequence once Death realizes they have eluded his grasp. After the initial Final Destination thrilled me back in 2000, I will admit generally going into its sequels with far less enthusiasm and a waning interest in the actual characters who happened to be trying to defy Death. I just showed up for the spectacle and the carnage and really never gave anything else much consideration.

However, Final Destination 5 has done something remarkable with the fifth installment of the highly popular series as writer Eric Heisserer and director Steven Quale decided to raise the bar for other horror sequels out there. Not only do they deliver the destruction and death we all long for in the Final Destination films, but they also manage to create an incredibly unique script that fabricates some new twists into the franchise's mythology and gives audiences a reason to care about the characters again.

In fact, Final Destination 5 is one of those rare sequels that is either on par with or almost exceeds the original film of the series. With an incredibly talented cast bringing this fifth movie to life and a jaw-dropping ending you won't even see coming, Final Destination 5 may now officially be my favorite film of the entire franchise.

John Landis Returning To The Horror Genre With New Monster Movie Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

The last horror projects he worked on were two episodes of the TV series Masters of Horror, both of which were brilliant and which come highly recommended both by myself and my esteemed editor, but now it seems that he’s got a new monster movie in the works as a joint venture with Alexandre Gavras.

You know what? Actually, I’m writing one with Alexandre Gavras and we’re shooting it within the next two years in Paris … Yeah, a little monster movie. It has no title [yet]…You’re the first people to know about it.

It’s interesting…my cast has to be bilingual because it’s being shot in French and English. We know who’s gonna star in it, but this is all off the radar right now [so I can't tell you who they are].

AICN HORROR Q&@: Ambush Bug talks about the inevitable vampire apocalypse with STAKE LAND director/writer Jim Mickle!!!
Ain't It Cool News: The best in movie, TV, DVD, and comic book news.

BUG: Yeah, itís definitely a kind of road movie. I think with a name like STAKE LAND, I think people are going to rush to think that itís a vampire version of ZOMBIELAND, but it couldnít be further from that film. Have you gotten that at all so far with the film?

JM: Yeah, I think a lot of peopleÖthey either say ďItís like ZOMBIELAND without the jokesĒ or ďItís THE ROAD with vampires.Ē (Laughs) I enjoyed both of those movies. It is nice to hear people say like itís its own movie, itís in its own place, and couldnít be further from those movies in a lot of ways. Thatís cool.
