Look, it's his world...we just live in it.

Personally I hope that the Rum Diaries is not as bad as the advanced word would tell you. But Depp is really the teflon don at this point.

Sat on a shelf a wee bit longer than it should have. A lot of the scuttlebutt leaking out is that the director did a lousy job. It looks...meh. I hope that it is better, we shall see.

In the theater or are you going to wait to be in the privacy of your home to cry? Lol!
I, mind you, have faith in the movie.

It depends on how bad it sucks (if it sucks). I may not be able to wait.

I don't think it'll be that bad...you should be able to make it home. It's not going to be in the same universe as Fear & Loathing. To be honest, it just looks really meh.

I will agree that the trailer is not extremely encouraging, but... hope springs eternal. There's no way it will be as good as Fear & Loathing, and that's ok. I just want it to be fun and funny. Like the book was.

i just saw the trailer for rum diaries and for some reason thought it was a commercial for an old depp movie. mind you, i didn't pay attention to anything but the glance i took at him so i didn't get that it was a movie trailer until "rum diaries" flashed across the screen at the end. all i have to say is MY GOD HE DOES NOT AGE.
oh and what i did see looked fun so i want to watch this when i get a chance.
