CHUD QUICK LIST: 5 of Cinema’s Most Dysfunctional Families | CHUD.com
HAHAHAHA me and the Kingsqueen, halfway to SDCC last year, this came on and I larfed so frikkin hard I needed a change.Quote:
“Waaaaaitaminute” you might say. And yeah, okay, technically this is cheating. But **** it – we’re talking about dysfunctional families in film, Delirious is a concert film, and the Murphys (as depicted in the “Family Cookout” bit on this alb…in this movie) is about as close to completely relatable as any of us are going to get to any of these families. From Uncle Gus’ techniques for grill lighting (“NOW THASSA FIRE!”) to Aunt Bunny’s mustachioed clumsiness (“…MY SHOE…”) to Eddie’s Father’s drunken assault on the entire family (“I know you’re 7, but you’ll be a 7-year-old, no-house, walkin’-the-dog mother****er”). There’s every chance that you’ve experienced SOMEthing today that makes this feel like home.
Most Dysfunctional Moment: “But I’ma tell you somethin’ mother****er. You can take your mother****in’ hairy fatass wife mustache bitch out the ****. You can go upstairs and get the mother****in’ dog and scoop up the ****, and take Eddie, and get these mother****in’ long Angela Davis afro-wearin’ mother****in’ kids of yours and put them in the mother****in’ goonie-goo-goo-mobile and get the **** out. And if my wife don’t like it she can get the **** out too.”
BTW...NOT SAFE FOR WORK...hardly safe for home.

The 10 Best Jim Henson's Creature Shop Credits (That Aren't Muppets) - Topless Robot
Remember in The Dark Crystal when that old guy tells our hero that he's kicking the bucket, and the young guy, is like, but I don't understand. When I was a kid, I used to think that was really sad. :(
That and the Neverending Story used to make me sad. Hahaha!
The part with the giant stone guy looking at his hands and saying 'they look like strong hands' always gets me.

This is pretty awesome, I will have to look and see if those Storyteller eps are available on disc...they were pretty awesome. Wasn't John Hurt the narrator with his big old muppet dog?
And Hitchikers Guide...was a good movie, too short though and they had to cut a lot. Still, Mos Def, Sam Rockwell, Bill Nighy...and the guy who is Bilbo(sorry, can't remember his name) almost good enough to make me forgive Zooey being in the movie.
