I know a lot of people LOATHE that movie, but I really enjoy it. Yeah, we don't fully get a complete feel of Adams' intertexuality that's present in the novel, but that's very difficult to get across in film, particularly when it's heavily laced with humor. And yeah the movie wasn't British enough.

But still, I enjoyed it.
