Tarantino Speaks At Comic-Con, Spills Great Bits And Pieces From Django Unchained | Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors
Quentin Tarantino Interrupts The Before Watchmen Panel To Announce A Django Unchained 5-Issue Mini-Series From DC Comics | Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and RumorsThe big headline news break from the panel, I suppose, is the revelation that Jonah Hill‘s role in the film will be as one of The Regulators, a proto-KKK group. Tarantino was inspired when writing a critique of Birth of a Nation to take one of the flaws of that film, which he didn’t explain on stage, and turn it into a sequence in Django. Those who have read the script will have some idea of where this is going, and it’s blackly comic stuff.
DC Entertainment taps Quentin Tarantino for Django Unchained for 5 issue miniseries to coincide with film release.
Django Unchained takes the movie’s story and tells it as a comic book says Tarantino, with story aspects that aren’t in the movie. #SDCC
“The comic will literally be the entire movie’s script.” – Tarantino at #SDCC
Comic-Con: Jamie Foxx DJANGO UNCHAINED Interview
I really hope Jamie Foxx doesn't ruin this. The interview alone had some douchey enough moments. Shoulda been Idris Elba(like almost everything should).
Comic Con 2012: Christoph Waltz Messes with the Press | CraveOnline
QT haters...whatever else you might think, the man does have an almost uncanny ability to make stars out of unconventional choices. He resurrected Travolta(for better or worse) and Waltz has become quite the commodity as well. Michael Madsen, Tim Roth and even Sam Jackson all got tremendous boosts from Qt...hell. you could even make an argument that he put Harvey Keitel in a better bracket as well.
