haha, ya, dude could get a drink while i was in junior high. better yet, he was an adult when i was 10! he'd tell me stories about seeing op ivy when he was younger. lol. not enough age difference to get all lucy danziger and call him daddy though.
ya, i heard about the merger and listened to faction another time that i rented a car on a trip and it was just too all over the place for me. what a shame.
how old are you...? i never get hangovers and i could drink like there was no tomorrow, but pretty close to 30, i started blacking out whenever i drank too much. losing chunks of time like that and not knowing where the f*** little gaps of my life went was/is weird.
Been listening to BBC Radio One since John Peel was there and I had to listen to world service version. Now I can get it live on my phone! Listen every day, mostly to the new Radio 1XTRA and it rocks. Love it so much that I have a cell phone dedicated to just being a radio in the man cave.

My favorite show is "this week in Divorce news."
I was not able to listen to the last Mark and Brian show. I enjoyed their show but my schedule did not allow much listening. I would only listen to them on the way to work. I was hoping to listen 1 last time to the repeats between the time they signed off and the start of the Heidi and Frank show. KLOS decided to play music during that time instead of repeats. oh well.
Brian has a new podcast with Jill Whelan and I think it is very good (if you are a M&B fan). They seem to have very good chemistry. It reminds me of the M&B show as there are many similar bits from the show. Since it is a podcast, I can listen to it on my time and I find myself listening to it more then M&B. Mark's podcast doesn't interest me at all. I understand his reasoning and everything but just not my thing. The one thing that really disappointed me was a youtube video of him I saw recently. He has since took it down it seems. He basically cussed out the M&B fans. It reminded me of Saturday Night Live skit with William Shatner telling Star Trek fans to "get a life". Apparently, M&B fans were clogging up his podcast website with anything relate to M&B. I understand his frustration but thought he could have handled it better or differently. I have definitely lost interest now if I had any to begin with.
I liked Frosty, Heidi and Frank when they are on KLSX. I haven't listened much and I am willing to give them a chance but so far, they are not doing it for me. Every time I turn them on the radio, they are talking about bodily function humor. That is not my sort of thing. I think not having Frosty with them really changed the dynamics of the show and not for the better. I will keep listening for now and see where it goes.
Who are you people that liked Mark & Brian and Heidi, Frosty & Frank?!
Wasn't there a 97.1 thread a few years ago where you professed your disdain for FH&F?
What's not to like? It might not be pure broadcasting genius every hour, but it's better than top 40 o the pops, sports, or right wing political babble in the morning.
Who are you calling you people?
I was one of those people. I also like The Regular Guys back in the early days of KLSX. The absence of Frosty is critical. Heidi and Frank are both second bananas. Frosty was the straw that stirred the drink. And I agree w/King Thomas, it wasn't must listen to every minute but it was a pleasant distraction as far as radio goes. If I am listening to radio it's gonna be talk or sports radio.
