And how it deteriorated into just "you bald prick, i hope you die" and threatening to box Scott before nearly passing out.

Hey, a radio thread. Maybe one of you can help me. For a long time, there was exactly one sports program on the radio that I listened to, hosted by a man who appeared in a movie featuring Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny, and when the host took one of his numerous vacations, there was exactly one of his guest hosts that I liked to listen to, a man who starred in the cinematic achievement "Jane Austen's Mafia" and leans on a Christopher Walken impression just a teeny bit. Well, the former Real World constestant also does a surprisingly good job as guest host too. But anyways, when the first guy changed companies, his original company hired the frequent guest host to take his spot. So now there are two sports programs on the radio for me to listen to, but they are on at the same time. Is there any way for me to listen to one of them at a different time, maybe if some station available by cellphone app is airing one of the shows on delay? Besides the method that a wooden and laconic voice has repeatedly suggested, which costs actual money.

Get a radio app (like Iheartradio or something) and find a market where clones listen to tape delay, bam.

Even better, build a radio that can pull his shows from the early 90s when he was actually fun and worth listening to. NoCal vs. SoCal vs. LoCal, Hell week (Raiders v Chargers) Eddie the Rope, Jesse at Camp Pendleton, the Mayor of Poway, Raider Mike, Gretz the Correspondent and JT the Brick calling in are 1000% better than any segment done now.
I don't miss that he isn't on in Chicago at all.

Howard on Sirius then Rome on the TuneIn app, 24/7 rush (the band), then its Tom Leykis on TuneIn. My radio never gets turned on. And of corse Iheartradio for Kings Talk. Radio is dead, KLOS will be a country station soon.

Tom Leykis...still around. Wow, he was so big for a minute. Must be tough for his tremendous ego...well, like he says, 'water finds it's own level'...

I am downloading this TuneIn to go with the other radio apps I downloaded (But have yet to mess with). So I think I just need a station that plays Jim or Jay on delay. I think the only major decline in Rome's show comes from all the top tier callers being too good to dial the show more than once a year. The first 30 minutes of the show are still gold, especially when he goes off on non-sports topics.

If KLOS goes, I can delete the 'FM' button from my radio.

Curious that he signed another 5 year deal before all this was finished....you'd think now he'd want to go to war and crush Sirius or something..

[VIDEO] Liberty Media CEO On Possible Sirius XM And Starz Deals

Well, Karmazin is gone now...new bosses. I wonder if they try to mend fences or they just plan on losing him at contracts end. I did read yesterday(link above) that they were thinking of spinning Sirius off on it's own again. Not sure what that would accomplish.
