should I wait till I get boned by SDCC's progressively worse system breaks down even more or shall I start now?
I predict that if SDCC keeps going on the path they are now, progressively getting more ****ed up and harder to get in with each passing year, that the time will come that even you, JD, champion of all things Comicon will declare, "**** it! I ain't going this time!"

In all honesty, this years registration went pretty smooth all things considered. A ****ty system yes, but it didn't go nuts.

Yeah, they seemed to control the flow enough so that the system did not crash. Thats a huge step towards improvement.

actually...yes. Common sense finally broke through by accident and lookie lookie, a fairly easy process. Reading all the complaints that are about it seems like the one dayers got the worst of it. No system is going to be perfect, at least the usual millions blocked out while others sneak in wasn't the big complaint. It was a step in the right direction that, no doubt, they will correct.

Really agreed. I was happy to see them do the pre-sale option for people who were there last year that didn't include waiting in line for five hours to hope you got one. There's enough of that at the Con as it is. Further, from what I understand, when general tickets go on sale if you have a 4-day but are able to get a 4-day with preview at that point, you can do that and they'll cancel the other one. Not sure if that's true or not as I haven't see an official word on that, but something to consider. Of course, you'll always be able to just tell me what you were looking to nab.
