Ealy: Lycans Extinct in Underworld Awakening - ShockTillYouDrop.com

One of the interesting tidbits Ealy gives is that in film, Lycans are allegedly extinct in this film – a far cry from the first three films where they were thriving.

So does this mean the film is set in the future?

"It is unclear how far it is in the future," Ealy says. "I don't know where it takes place or when. Time and place doesn't really matter in a film like this. You get caught up with the characters and they all have a human dynamic."

And this already sucks.
