    ‪John Carter Trailer 2012 -- Official Movie Trailer | HD‬‏ - YouTube

    JOHN CARTER Trailer

Here’s the official synopsis for John Carter:

From Academy Award(R)-winning filmmaker Andrew Stanton comes “John Carter”–a sweeping action-adventure set on the mysterious and exotic planet of Barsoom (Mars). “John Carter” is based on a classic novel by Edgar Rice Burroughs, whose highly imaginative adventures served as inspiration for many filmmakers, both past and present. The film tells the story of war-weary, former military captain John Carter (Taylor Kitsch), who is inexplicably transported to Mars where he becomes reluctantly embroiled in a conflict of epic proportions amongst the inhabitants of the planet, including Tars Tarkas (Willem Dafoe) and the captivating Princess Dejah Thoris (Lynn Collins). In a world on the brink of collapse, Carter rediscovers his humanity when he realizes that the survival of Barsoom and its people rests in his hands.
    Hurm...not quite sure.

Seems like a waste of film. Here's the story. They find it, they get killed one by one, the last chases after it (it turned into a dog) and is killed by the American crew at the American camp. end of story.

First Trailer For Martin Scorsese’s ‘The Invention Of Hugo Cabret’ Adaptation Released | Geeks of Doom

The first trailer for legendary director Martin Scorsese‘s upcoming holiday season family fantasy adventure, titled Hugo, has been released online by Paramount Pictures.

The movie stars Asa Butterfield (The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, The Wolfman), Chloe Moretz (Kick–Ass, Let Me In), Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, Sweeney Todd), Ben Kingsley (Shutter Island, Ghandi), Jude Law (Road to Perdition, Sherlock Holmes), Ray Winstone (The Departed, The Proposition), Christopher Lee (Lord of the Rings, Corpse Bride), Helen McCrory (Harry Potter, The Fantastic Mr. Fox), Richard Griffiths (Harry Potter, Sleepy Hollow), Frances de la Tour (The History Boys, Alice in Wonderland), Emily Mortimer (Shutter Island, Lars and the Real Girl), and Michael Stuhlbarg (Boardwalk Empire, A Serious Man).

You can see the trailer for Hugo and read a synopsis for the movie by clicking on over to the other side now!

    SYNOPSIS

Hugo tells the story of an orphan boy living a secret life in the walls of a Paris train station. With the help of an eccentric girl, he searches for the answer to a mystery linking the father he recently lost, the ill-tempered toy shop owner living below him and a heart shaped lock, seemingly without a key.

Based on Brian Selznick’s award winning and imaginative New York Times bestseller, The Invention of Hugo Cabret, this magical tale is Academy Award-winner Martin Scorsese’s first film shot in 3D.

Gotta say, this looks kinda kick ass.

Geek Peek: Get Your First Look At Liam McIntyre As The New Spartacus In ‘Vengeance’ | Geeks of Doom

Ok. He has the look. And the distance that the mini-series put in will help...but Whitfield was special. Special enough to lift this above the 'pulp' that it was. Gonna have to have some charisma to fill them sandals.

    TWIXT Movie Image

The first image has been released from Francis Ford Coppola’s upcoming Gothic film Twixt. Rather surprisingly, fans will get their first look at the film at this week’s Comic-Con in San Diego, as Coppola will be bringing the film for a panel in Hall H. The image gives us a look at Coppola and star Elle Fanning on set. Twixt focuses on a hack horror novelist who has ghostly visions that lead him to explore a young girl’s ghostly murder. The film stars Fanning, Val Kilmer, Bruce Dern, and Ben Chaplin.

Justin Timberlake and Amanda Seyfried IN TIME Images

    Don't like the cast, but

20th Century Fox has released the first official images from writer/director Andrew Niccol’s sci-fi/thriller In Time. Starring Justin Timberlake, Amanda Seyfried, and Cillian Murphy, the film is set in a futuristic society in which aging can be halted. As a result, trading years in life becomes the legal tender of choice.
the idea is a nice one.
