Marc Forster in Talks to Direct Disney’s IMAGINING NATHAN

Director Marc Forster is continuing his track record of choosing varied material, as he’s now looking to helm a Disney feature. The Wrap reports that the Quantum of Solace director is in negotiations to direct Imagining Nathan, a film that revolves around a character who, as a six-year-old, “retreats into a fantasy world after his parents are killed.” The film takes place thirty years later, where his sister is trying to help him escape his demons after being diagnosed with a condition that causes him to live in a cartoon-like world.

sounds great right? What's wrong you ask? Well Forster is currently the 'creative force' behind the rumored epic disaster of World War Z. You know...that movie that is undergoing EPIC reshoots in the hopes of padding it out to 90 minutes(because during the initial shoot most of the footage is rumored to be unusable) and a village of writers are trying to cobble together a third act for...good God. These folks don't even have downtime when they **** the bed. Here's another gig...jayzus.

I am sorry, but just reading about this and Cloud Atlas is enough to give me chills. Please let both these movies do well so maybe, just maybe Hollywood let's a couple smart movies slip through.
