My thoughts as well. PO'ing friendly MCs, Clay making nice with cartel, Otto doing what only Otto could, WOW! As I say every year about this time, "not sure how Jax and the club will get out of this one..."

It feels like Sutter is less and less concerned with getting them out of these things. If they slip the noose again, well it's going to seem unnatural at this point. The hole is too deep. And...nobody wants to say it, but Jax has become a monster. So obsessed with Clay that he is playing brother against brother. He is using his mother, poor Juice...and hell, what was that head**** with Bobby and Chibs? I have no doubt that Jax was serious about turning Tig over. Here is something to consider...suppose Tara(who is flirting with the out of town job secretly) gives Jax an ultimatum. How loyal is he to Tara? Would he sell her out? I am not sure at this point. It's gotten almost hopelessly grim. Still a terrific show but jayzus we need something good to happen to somebody already. ****, I actually felt bad for Clay last night.

Not me. Dude is fully dead to me. He is now angling for his life and it looks as if it will come to a head next week. After what he pulled last season I am finished with Clay.

Regarding Jax and Tara - I would see her taking the boys and going to Oregon and Jax being ok with it. I just don't know how she will get out of being an accomplice to what Otto did. She gave him the weapon.

I agree that Sutter is taking us to a place we don't like i.e. seeing the boys go down a dark, long hole that there may be no escape from. I firmly believe that Jax is going to give up Tig to Pope. He sees potential to get legit and maybe that is the cost - turning his back on a brother who, ultimately, caused the death of his best friend.

Wow - some twisted, evil stuff this year. And it hurts.

Its a testament to Ron Perlman that I actually felt sincere regret from Clay. It does seem as if the worm turns judging by next weeks teaser, but still...as horrible as he is, there is still some tragedy there. The scenes between him and Gemma reminded me of Bride of Frankenstein a bit...prolly cause of RP's big ole Frankenhead, but there was a real sadness there and even Gemma was moved inbetween flinching everytime he reached for her. I just remember happier times and it makes me sad that all these characters I am emotionally invested in just seem destined for really sad ends.

Totally agree on Perlman - that guy is just a great actor! That was some raw, good drama when Gemma was flinching and he realized how bad it was.

Agree on missing the happier, upbeat days even though they were an evil bunch. There is NO happiness (or so it seems) this season. Who thinks Nero is going to be the wildcard next week? I still don't think we know everything there is to know about him and I could see him really helping Jax somehow next week. Give it up to Sutter - he knows how to write some compelling stories. Almost like a car wreck type stories where you can't turn away without wanting to watch.

    Default All Things:Sons of Anarchy

I felt clay was just making a play the whole time. Although when the CIA guys told him had had to be removed, he did say something along the lines of "I'm not taking that deal"..

Juice...damn. Does it come down to Jax vs Clay and he has to choose who to save? It almost felt like clay knew he was snooping around his place and was making a last gesture to him..

Wow...NOBODY bought that Clay was actually sorry for the damage he wrought. Nobody believed that he truly felt love for Juice(c'mon...in a friendless world, Juice was like a puppy dog for Clay...and last season when Clay gave him the patch and you could tell Juice had daddy issues) and even Gemma, who physically recoiled from Clay while trying to seduce him...you could feel her heart break when he confessed his love for her...c'mon!!!! Clay has done some monstrous things but he has also been capable of brotherhood and love. And look at Jax. You guys all believe him capable of love and all he is doing is burning things down around him. He stayed to protect the club...why? he is willing to trade and outright sell 'brothers' in order to get his way. There isn't a lot of remorse shown so far. There is a lot more Clay Morrow in his eyes than there is John Teller. Clay may be a devious bastard but just scroll back to season 2 when he found out about Gemma's rape...you could feel his heart breaking. You guys are way too quick to forget.

Now that I think about it...Jax has been using Tara too. He set her in motion with Otto. When she was at the table telling him what happened he just took it in matter of factly and said a lot of emotionless 'we will make it alright' stuff. What is he fighting for at this point? The club that he wanted to save from the bad path they were going down a la John Teller's memoires...well he just keeps putting them further and further into danger, his wife...his mother...Everyone just cuts him slack cause he's the hero, but dude is almost worse than Clay at this point.

Totally agree with all you said here. I didn't feel sorry for Clay but feel like he is at the end of his rope and is reaching out for someone, anyone be it Juicy or Gemma. Now why I don't feel for him is because he did all this to himself. Jax has just started down the spiral path of black.

I don't get why Jax consistently breaks club protocol with quite a few things, but then when it comes to Clay, he wants to bring it to the table and vote him out.

Did anyone else feel like that piece about going after High Tower was along the lines of filler material? I don't recall any mention of needing to kill him when he got out of the pen. All of a sudden the prospects were there waiting for him to be released from prison.

Bobby seems to be pretty upset with Jax and his selfish acts, I'm curious to see what unfolds between them. Meanwhile Chibs is Jax' right hand man it seems.
