All Things:Sons of Anarchy
November 20th, 2013, 09:19 PM #602
I don't want to spoil The Shield for anyone, so I am going to be vague, but one thing has been going very much in the direction of one component of the end of The Shield, so I am convinced it has to take a turn away from that so Sons Of Anarchy doesn't repeat it. So there is one thing I don't see happening.

I was thinking the show had completely dropped the gang formerly run by Michael from Lost, but then they finally are brought back up at the end when Jax is trying to get them the guns deal again. It makes complete sense for the Irish guy Jax spared earlier to go along with the story, and even if the Irish higher-ups are suspicious, they know Galen is a psycho and would probably convince themselves to lose their doubts.
They should just have a mega-happy ending since no one would expect it.

Ther are worse things than this show following the Shield blueprint. One thing lost in this...Eli seemed to be reluctantly 'friendly' with the club. Keeping them at hands length while treating them, Nero etc fairly. He has been around a few seasons now and the attack on Clay's convoy definitely seems to have swung him. That might factor in.

Nero seems so unhappy about everything, but so unwittingly goes along with it all as he loves Gemma. The whole "i can't take much more of this", and "I see what you meant by more to come". He himself is like a metaphor for everything that happens with the club and to it's associates.
I can't see Tara giving the bullet to the DA. "I'm sorry being with me made you go to that place" - fantastic line from Jax.
The whole episode made me forget that the chinese guys are still holding a son as collateral.
It ain't over yet McGavin

Greatest banter ever in a TV show.
Jax: You ready?
Tig: I'm all over it, like jizz on his momma.
Tattoo:Hey, my momma's dead man.
Jax: That won't stop him.

Pretty funny episode. The whole Irish/Guns/hokeyPokey dance partners thing is just a big mess. Jax is the WORST club president. Say what you want about Clay, at least his plans weren't constantly under siege by logic. I think Juice may finally get his wish next week. And I can't help but think that Jax is going to have some revelation that Tara may be doing the right thing by taking the kids and getting them the hell away from his toxic life. I think he lets her walk with the kids.

I thought that too.

I liked the bobby banter:
- Come hold my **** while I pee
- Is he serious?
- Yeah. You're gonna need to use both hands, he's huge.

Poor Nero, the only really innocent person in all this. And he just keeps getting things (emotionally/physically) stripped away from him due to his association. He is gonna be the casualty here, or he is gonna be the bringer of retribution...god help all if something happens to his kid. That's gonna be the final straw.

I wonder if they'll plan a hit on Juice. If they do, I have a feeling whoever shows up to do it will find Juice dead by his own doing.
