This was a great book, which really had no right to get made into a movie, and the fact that it is almost more relevant today than it was when it came out shows just how good the damned movie is. And ironic too, because this movie would bare no resemblance to itself if it were made in this day of bland, homogenized entertainment. Malcolm Mc Dowell gets a lifetime hall pass regardless of how many crap movies he makes due to one of the greatest performances ever. I have yet to watch the disc(I hear good things) or the extras(also) but the digibook packaging is beautiful and that alone is enough to recommend this. Came out today, and it simply is mandatory. **** it, I am off to listen to the soundtrack now.
BUY THIS ****!!!!!!
