Jonathan Demme Leaves Stephen King Adaptation 11/22/63 | Collider

During an interview with The Playlist, Demme explained how he fell off the adaptation:


“This is a big book, with lots in it. And I loved certain parts of the book for the film more than Stephen did. We’re friends, and I had a lot of fun working on the script, but we were too apart on what we felt should be in and what should be out of the script.”

Just started reading...and it's vintage King so far.

Change Of Plan - Stephen King's 11/22/63 Headed To TV With Bad Robot - Bleeding Cool Comic Book, Movies and TV News and Rumors

Not sure how I feel about this. REALLY liked this book and a 2 hr flick seems too short but a min-series sounds a little much. Bad Robot though. Could surely see Matthew Fox as the lead.

Dude - Matthew Fox would be absolutely awesome and a fully believable Jake. Wonder who would be cast as Sadie?
