They should make a Doctor Sleep movie with that stupid kid from the Shining remake who's now an adult, but probably still has chubby cheeks and lisps.

I, for one, am looking forward to the book!

28 WEEKS LATER Director Juan Carlos Fresnadillo to Helm New Adaptation of PET SEMATARY | Collider

    Entirely unecessary...

There are no details about how Fresnadillo and producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura plan to proceed, but perhaps they should look at the recent version of Stephen King’s Carrie and be careful. When it comes to remakes, “sometimes dead is better.”
Since dude already walked on remakes of the Crow & Highlander, chances are strong this won't make it any farther.

Maybe he performs a public service by stringing along producers seeking to remake movies that should never ever be remade and then bailing, thus wasting the time and money of the producers, reducing the chances of the remakes happening. Give him an honorary Oscar.

Kristen Stewart and Jesse Eisenberg AMERICAN ULTRA; Samuel L. Jackson Joins John Cusack in CELL | Collider

Finally, from The Wrap comes word that Jackson will reteam with 1408 co-star Cusack in Cell. Scripted by King and Adam Alleca (The Last House on the Left), Cell stars Jackson as “Tom McCourt, an engineer and former soldier who escapes from Boston along with Cusack’s character, Clay Riddell, after a mysterious cell phone-transmitted pulse spreads like a virus through the human population.” The picture is set to begin production in January.
May need to re-read Cell. My memory seems to say it was a satisfying read, but I cannot for the life of me remember ANYTHING about it.
