They started to make a 24 movie, but there was a mole inside the studio and he stole the footage and gave it to North Korean sleeper agents.

Sundance Channels Top of the Lake: Out of the gloom, a chilling mystery - The Washington Post

7 part series starts tonight on IFC. Getting solid reviews and has Peter Mullan(Trainspotting, Session 9) so that's a definite plus. From the descriptions Australian murder mystery, with a hint of Twin Peaks...oh, and it's getting a lot of The Killing comparisons too.
