Is anyone out there watching "The Returned" on the Sundance channel? I stumbled upon a preview for this while watching The Writers Room. According to DTV it first aired back in June but was a French series in 2010. It's about a bus full of kids/young adults that crashes off a mountain and everyone is killed. Three years later they all have returned. When I watched the first episode I nearly turned it off due to it having sub-titles (I'm just not big on these). But before I knew it the episode was over and I thouroughly enjoyed it. The second episode was tonight and I'm in it for the duration. If this is your type of thing and you can put up with the sub-titles and poor video quality then I would give it a shot.

Paramount to Develop TV Series, GHOST; CW Reboots TALES FROM THE DARKSIDE Series | Collider

Ok. CW...doing Tales From the Darkside. Yeah. I felt the same way. But waitaminnit...

The CW is looking to reboot Tales from the Darkside, the 1980s horror/fantasy/thriller anthology series by George A. Romero. Joe Hill will write the half-hour series and will produce alongside Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci.
Deadline reports that The CW may land the Tales from the Darkside series reboot. Hill knows a bit about horror as he is the son of acclaimed author, Stephen King. The project will reunite Hill, Kurtzman and Orci, who previously collaborated on the failed series adaptation, Locke & Key. The show is in the vein of Amazing Stories,The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits and Tales From The Crypt, and the original enjoyed a four-year run. Kurtzman and Orci are currently enjoying the success of their freshman supernatural series, Sleepy Hollow.
If they can capture this...bring it.

Really liked Monday's episode of How I Met Doogie, which makes two good episodes this season, and I have really come around on the mother, now that she has actually interacted with the characters. Too bad the next episode looks like more wheel spinning with Barney's boring mom.

Was that Carlos from Third Watch I just saw as the President of Texas on Revoluccion? That and Bobby Singer showing up in the previous episode almost make up for the ridiculous 'brainwashed soldier' and 'magic firefly nanobot' plots. Not even Zeljko Ivanec rolling by right now (I am still an episode behind after this) with a coffin containing someone I know isn't really dead can make up for that.

Such a great show and cast. Started watching for Ed Marinaro, but stayed for Bruce Weitz. I love me some Crazy.

I don't remember the previews indicating it would be subtitled so I was surprised, but stuck with it. No problem at all. It's very different from typical undead fare, and that little boy is soooooooo creepy. Love it so far.
